Forge General Operative - £13.00/hr
Location: Cradley Heath, Birmingham
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:45am - 4:45pm
Friday, 7:45am - 3:45pm
Lunch: 1:00pm - 1:30pm (unpaid)
Pay Type: Weekly
Overtime: May be required (mornings/weekends) at the agreed hourly rate

We are looking for a Forge General Operative to join our Clients manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role in a busy production environment, ideally suited to someone with previous experience in forging or similar heavy industrial work.

Key Responsibilities:

Work within a forge and hot forged presswork environment
When forge work is not required, assist with:
Cropping, sawing, grinding, linishing
Packing, shot blasting, CNC operation
Threading, drilling, robot welding
General machine shop dutiesRequirements:

Experience in a forge or similar industrial setting
Physically fit and comfortable in a hot working environment
Accurate measuring skills and basic computer literacy
Flexible and open to learning new skills
Able to work unsupervised once trainedTraining & Development:

Comprehensive training will be provided from the start. You'll be expected to work independently once competence has been demonstrated.
