Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience designing machinery looking for a highly varied, technical role where every day is different, with plenty of ongoing support and guidance to handle a range of technically exciting projects from cradle to grave?

In this role you will be responsible for managing bespoke machinery design projects, from concept to completion. You will be working on SolidWorks to design the machinery such as conveyors, drives and robotics, with ongoing training given. You will then be involved in the assembling and testing, along with using MS Projects to handle the budgets and timescales.

Founded nearly 50 years ago, this company design, manufacturer, supply and install a range automation and robotic machinery across sectors such as aerospace, automotive, military, and nuclear. They pride themselves on their extraordinary reputation of reliable machinery, coupled with excellent retention rates due to internal promotions.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience designing machinery, rotating equipment, or similar, looking for a diverse and challenging projects based role for a close-knit company, where they will develop into a technical expert at what they do.

The Role:

Mechanical design of conveyors, robotics, frames and drives for special purpose machinery
Using SolidWorks, with training given if needed
Handling projects from cradle to grave, involved in assembly and testing
Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, early finish on Fridays, 37.5 hours a weekThe Person:
