Injection Moulding Technician

Location: Hampshire

Hours: Double day shift: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm with weekly rotation

Are you a technically skilled Injection Moulding Technician with a passion for precision, process optimisation, and quality? From design support and tooling through to high-volume and specialist mouldings, assembly, and testing, we combine technical expertise with decades of experience to provide reliable, high-quality results. What you’ll be doing:

  • Setting up and changing injection mould tools safely and efficiently.

  • Preparing and planning upcoming production jobs to keep downtime to a minimum.

  • Working closely with Quality Technicians, Supervisors, and Operators to ensure a smooth handover from set-up to production.

  • Using structured problem-solving to identify and resolve issues for good.

  • Keeping your work area clean, safe, and compliant with all production and safety standards.

  • Sharing technical knowledge and helping maintain a consistent, high-quality setup process across the team.

    What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Technician: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Injection Moulding, Engineering, or Manufacturing.

  • Experienced: You’ve worked in an injection moulding environment and understand the ins and outs of moulding machines, ancillaries, and materials.

  • Problem Solver: You’re confident using structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis techniques.

  • Detail-Oriented & Reliable: You take pride in your work, can multitask effectively, and meet deadlines without cutting corners.

  • Team Player: You communicate well, adapt easily, and enjoy working with others to get the job done right.

    Bonus points for:

  • Experience with gate freeze studies, residence time or clamp tonnage calculations.

  • Familiarity with robots, hot runner systems, or mould heaters.
