The Software Engineer will work on the complete development lifecycle of flight safety and navigation systems, from concept and algorithm design to system integration and testing. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-performance solutions, maintain high-quality code, and produce comprehensive documentation.
Design and develop electrical hardware solutions for industrial automation projects, including control panels and MCCs, using CAD tools. Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials while ensuring compliance with safety standards and client specifications. Collaborate with project teams and support commissioning activities across manufacturing and infrastructure sectors.
Design and develop control systems for automated logistics solutions, including programming Siemens PLCs from scratch, creating HMI interfaces, and implementing safety-compliant software. Commission systems both in the UK and occasionally overseas, with responsibility for end-to-end project delivery at an engineering level. Work across workshop and site environments as part of a collaborative controls team.
