We are currently looking for an Incoming Goods Inspector for our client, a producer of cutting-edge integrated electric motor and power electronics modules for the automotive, aerospace, industrial machinery, robotics, and green technology sectors.   The successful candidate will take ownership of the inspection and verification of materials and components delivered by suppliers.
 
The Incoming Goods Inspector will:

Record inspection results in the ERP/QMS system and maintain accurate, up-to-date logs.
Support the Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) team in monitoring supplier performance and identifying trends.
Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and quality teams to resolve supplier quality issues promptly.
Verify supplier documentation including certificates of conformity, test reports, and material traceability.
Identify and segregate non-conforming materials; issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) and initiate appropriate actions.  
The Incoming Goods Inspector will have:

2–4 years’ experience in a similar incoming inspection or quality control role within the automotive, aerospace, or electromechanical industry.
Proven experience of applying dynamic inspection frequencies (such as AQL).
Experience & understanding of reading and interpreting technical drawings, GD&T symbols, and inspection plans.
Technical certification, vocational qualification, or equivalent experience in manufacturing or quality inspection.
Proficient with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, multimeters, spline gauges, thread gauges, surface texture measurement, hardness and coatings.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and general quality documentation requirements.
