Job Title: Production Manager / Production Specialist

Location: High Wycombe

Salary: GBP 38k - 40k per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am till 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7am till 1pm Friday

The Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Production Manager / Production Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing team performance, driving process improvements, and ensuring the continuous motivation and development of our production team. This role is central to maintaining our high manufacturing standards and fostering a positive and productive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the production team, ensuring team motivation, performance, and development.
Oversee the production of thermoformed and CNC-machined aluminium components, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Implement and monitor performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in team productivity and output.
Develop, implement, and monitor production schedules to meet customer demands.
Identify and drive process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with aerospace industry regulations and quality control standards (AS9100, ISO9001).
Coordinate with engineering, design, and quality teams to streamline production.
Maintain a safe working environment by managing and promoting best practices to ensure health and safety regulations are met.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a Production Manager / Production Specialist role within aerospace manufacturing or a related industry.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on people management, team motivation, and performance improvement.
Experience in driving continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies.
Understanding of thermoforming and CNC machining processes is a plus.
ISO9001 experience and familiarity AS9100 and other aerospace quality standards a nice to have
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
Health & safety management & experience.
