£60,000 - £70,000 (dependant on experience level) + bonus and genuinely good benefits package

Based out of either Manchester / Glasgow / London offices with travel to client sites and for workshops and team meetings.

Our client is a leading management consultancy specialising in digital innovation and transformation. Due to continued growth we are looking for multiple Programme and Portfolio Management Consultants to work across different clients and programmes.

The Role

As a Programme and Portfolio Management Consultant you will deliver complex client business transformation initiatives across a variety of sectors. With an agile mindset and a strong grasp of P3M tools and techniques, you will lead clients through their transformation journeys. Your understanding of market trends and emerging challenges will allow you to offer valuable insights and strategic advice, helping clients achieve lasting and impactful change.

Responsibilities

Independently lead execution of overall work streams on client delivery, and being a mentor / coach to junior team members, enabling capability development and growth of the team.
Implementing P3M methodologies / principles on client engagements to drive forward thought leadership.
Contributing to the development of internal training pathways to enhance capability in areas such as automation, tooling, and P3M methodologies.
Able to shape and solve problems using a fact-based approach to drive insight to clients.
Having a commercial mindset to proactively identify new opportunities to support clients and shape P3M offering.

Skills and Experience

Proven track record of delivering complex transformation initiatives across various industries. Expertise in programme governance, stakeholder management and risk management.
Experience managing workstreams on client delivery and delegating work to direct reports.
Experience and expertise of multiple P3M delivery approaches and methodologies.
Experience with automation solutions, including workflow automation, AI resource augmentation, AI-driven reporting, or Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
Strong commercial awareness, including identifying and converting sales opportunities or managing budgets effectively.
Demonstrated skills in people development through coaching and managing others.
Must have a consulting background, preferably with experience working in a major consulting firm,
Must be eligible for UK security vetting status of Security Check (SC).
Relevant qualifications including MSP, MoP, P3O, PROSCI, APMG, PRINCE2 or Agile are preferred.
