About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Data Specialist to lead the governance, integrity, and optimisation of business data, while driving the effective use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data tools across the organisation. This is a pivotal role focused on transforming data into actionable insights and supporting smarter business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in compliance with GDPR and other data governance standards.
Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from multiple sources to identify patterns and opportunities for improvement.
Administer tools such as Power BI, SharePoint, Data Warehouses/Lakes, and data management platforms, including Large Language Models (LLMs).Reporting & Analysis

Automate workflows and business processes using tools such as Power Automate or UI Path to enhance efficiency.
Develop and maintain reporting capabilities using Power BI over a SQL-based data warehouse, supporting ETL improvements and extending analytics functionality.
Deliver clear, actionable reports, dashboards, and data visualisations to support decision-making.Collaboration & Cross-functional Support

Work closely with departments to understand data needs, gather reporting requirements, and create meaningful visualisations.
Provide expertise to improve the use and understanding of data throughout the organisation.Skills & Experience:

Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PowerQuery.
Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
Knowledge of Azure Data Factory or Microsoft Fabric preferred.
Familiarity with machine learning platforms and AI algorithms is a plus.
