Time 4 Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a Temporary Senior Site Engineer located in Edinburgh City Centre for 12 months plus work

You will be working for a well-established, main contractor in the UK. Our client specialises in key construction projects including new build and refurbishments of hotel and leisure, commercial, industrial, health and education.

As Senior Site Engineer you will have experience working on a range of commercial contracts (ideally student accommodation, high rise residential properties, hotels etc.). You should also have solid experience working in the construction industry especially on RC Frame developments.

As Site Engineer you will be required to start April 2025 Our client has a number of other projects starting in Edinburgh which will include a multi-story RC frame, multi-bedroom hotels and student accommodation.

Previous experience:

  • 5 years minimum setting out experience.

  • Experience on commercial and RC frame projects – ideally hotels and student accommodation.

  • You must have Main contract experience in contracts in excess of £25m.

  • You MUST be able to demonstrate a proven track record with previous employers confirming length of service and continuity of employment.

  • Able to use Leica and Robotic equipment.

  • SMSTS

  • CSCS

    Key responsibilities:

  • General Setting out to included: RC frame, groundworks Drainage, Manhole, bore hole chambers, Surface water, Pop ups, service trenches, boreholes, ground beams, Retaining walls, Sheet piles, capping beams, Slab and the relevant tests and As-Built, Transition roads and curbs.

  • Surveying and investigation works.

  • Report to Site Manager

  • Liaising with sub-contractors

  • Adhere to H & S Compliance throughout the Site.

  • Ensure quality of works meets the clients’ demands.

  • Within easy commute of Edinburgh
