Civil Engineering contractor, having secured new project in Launceston, are looking for a Site Engineer/Manager with civils infrastructure project experience. This is initially a 3 month contract assignment but with projected workload, this could be extended and will be starting ASAP.

The work will involve earthworks, pipelines and a pump station. Duties will include, but not be restricted to setting out using robotic equipment and providing dimensional control information; allocation sheets, supervision of the work to maintain good work practices and quality; Maintaining a good working relationship with client representatives. This role will require technical knowledge, setting out and some degree of management experience.

Applicants must have an SMSTS and be able to demonstrate a background of similar contracts in a Senior Setting Out Engineer, Sub Agent or Engineer/Agent role. The person will be a key member of the management team. Successful integration will lead to further contract opportunities.

Day rate will be competitive and in line with experience.
