We are seeking an extremely detail- and data-oriented AI Prompt Engineer to design, refine, and optimise text prompts for AI platforms such as ChatGPT and AI-based image/data generation tools. This role blends creative prompt engineering with technical data integration, enabling business processes to be accurately represented in AI systems and operational dashboards.

The ideal candidate will not only craft prompts for high-quality AI outputs but also define and integrate business dashboards across all operational areas into a transactional reporting system. The goal is to empower stakeholders and contributors to make informed, data-driven decisions, driving precision, excellence, and efficiency.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to discuss product development, identify uses of AI tools, and figure out ways algorithms can make workflows more efficient.

  • Ensure data outputs are reliable, actionable, and aligned with organisational KPIs.

  • Continuously test and iterate prompts and dashboards for improved performance and accuracy.

  • Drafting, refining, and testing text prompts to make sure they are yielding the desired outcome.

  • Integrating AI chatbots, image generators, and coding platforms into the company’s workflows efficiently.

  • Optimizing text prompts based on feedback from colleagues, users, and key stakeholders.

  • Staying up to date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning.

  • Draft, refine, and optimise AI prompts for chatbots, image generators, and other AI tools to achieve accurate, context-rich results.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective AI prompt strategies.

  • Map all business processes and integrate them into a centralised dashboard ecosystem.

  • Develop transactional reporting systems that consolidate data from multiple sources for real-time monitoring.

    Ideal Candidate Profile

  • The ability to collaborate and communicate effectively. Communication is paramount when it comes to this role. So, is collaboration. If you’re seeking a career as a Prompt Engineer, make sure that you are equipped to work well with others.

  • In-depth knowledge of algorithms, machine learning, and various AI models. This may include knowing the history behind various AI models, what the limitations are, and having first-hand experience experimenting with how specific AI platform’s function.

  • Basic coding skills may be required depending on the company but is not necessarily required by everyone hiring for this role.

  • An advanced degree (such as Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Machine Learning) may help but is not necessarily required. For some prompt engineering roles, employers will base their evaluation on your experience and skills instead of over-emphasizing a candidate’s educational background.

    What We Offer

  • UK Visa Sponsorship.

  • Eligibility for British Passport after 5 years.

  • Free education for dependent children.

  • Free medical facilities for you and your family.

  • Contributory pension scheme.

  • 25 days’ annual leave + 8 bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell additional days.

  • Recognition awards for long service and outstanding contribution.
