Bench Worker / Fabricator

Location: Sittingbourne
Job Type: Full-time, permanent - (Monday to Thursday 2:15 to 12:30 am)
Salary: £16 p/h DOE, including occasional overtime at 1.5x normal payJoin a premier manufacturer, and continue your career in a dynamic, team-focused environment. As an Experienced Bench Worker / Fabricator in their Production team, you will play a crucial role in our ambitious journey towards becoming the UK's largest contract manufacturer by 2028. Day-to-Day of the Bench Worker / Fabricator Role:

Operate and set up various types of drilling machines and Pem Machines.
Operate and load robot and cobot welders.
Learn to operate CNC Laser cutting, Punchpress, and Brakepress.
Interpret work orders and work instructions.
Carry out grinding and finishing activities.
Perform quality drilling and grinding activities.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and carry out fabrication tasks as required.
Conduct quality checks on your own work and promptly raise any issues when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications of the Bench Worker / Fabricator:

Previous experience working in a metal fabrication environment.
Proficiency in quality workmanship.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
