Position: CNC Programmer or CNC Setter/Operator

Location: Bletchley

Rate: £13-£15 for Operator dependent on experience -£18- £20per hour for programmer

Our client is a well-established manufacturer based in the Bletchley of Milton Keynes and they're on the lookout for a CNC Turner join their growing team. If you have experience in CNC Machining, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure a stable, long-term role with great prospects for progression.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC turning machines with fanuc controls.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Adjust machine settings, tool offsets, and cutting parameters to ensure precision.
Conduct quality inspections using measuring tools such as callipers and micrometres.
Monitor machine operations, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor repairs.
Maintain accurate production records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Knowledge of CNC programming (G-code) is advantageous.
Experience with measuring instruments such as micrometres and dial indicators.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.
