Position: CNC Setter / Operator - Late Shift Team Leader

Salary: £44,950 - £47,450 - Depending on experience

Location: Wickford

Hours: 14:00pm - 22:15pm

Proactive are currently in search of an experienced CNC Setter / Operator for a world leading Aerospace and Automotive company based in Wickford. They are at the forefront of delivering the parts that matters to their customers. Through innovation and collaboration, they have put their customers ahead of the competition in the automotive and aerospace industry.

Job Focus:

Your role as a CNC Setter Team Leader will involve setting and operating on CNC Machines using Siemens/Fanuc controls. We are currently looking for a skilled Setter looking to further his skills and move into leading a team.

Key accountabilities:

Working on the machining platforms, producing various components across all the major projects.
Setting and operating CNC Machines using Siemens and/or Fanuc controls
Working to client Technical Instructions and program manuals to deliver consistent, high quality machining across a variety of different components and product families.
The interpretation of manufacturing drawings, customer drawings and written specifications.
The assessment of whether the quality of components produced within the facility meets the required standards.
Working within a team to effectively resolve quality issues and ensure your work is being completed to plan.Skills / Experience:

CNC machining experience (setting and operating)
Previous experience working with aerospace or automotive components would be preferable.
Clear and demonstrated understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration, dimensional and visual inspection.
Pro-active and patient individual capable of managing your time effectively.How to Apply:
