Commissioning Electrical Installation Engineer - Field Based

Are you an experienced electrical installation engineer with hands-on commissioning experience? This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading industrial automation business delivering control panel and VSD/inverters to the water industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drive (VSD) systems on new and retrofit projects.

  • Carrying out panel modifications, electrical terminations, and system integration work.

  • Installing and testing electrical containment, cabling, and control systems to high standards of safety and quality.

  • Supporting onsite commissioning activities, including loop checks, I/O testing, and fault finding.

  • Collaborating closely with control engineers and project managers to ensure timely project delivery.

    Requirements:

  • Proven experience in industrial electrical installation and commissioning.

  • Strong understanding of VSDs, control panels, and automation systems.

  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

  • Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / 18th Edition).

  • A proactive, safety-conscious attitude and willingness to travel to customer sites.
