Electrical Design & Controls Engineer, required to join a leader in automation technology organisation. As the successful Electrical Design & Controls Engineer you will play a critical role in utilising AutoCAD Electrical to design panels and electrical schematics for industrial automation.

Design and specify control systems, safety systems, and electrical components for advanced industrial automation solutions.
Develop electrical schematics and designs using AutoCAD Electrical.
Produce layout diagrams, terminal, and wiring plans, ensuring compliance with EU Standards.
Create and maintain detailed technical specifications.
Collaborate closely with design and applications engineers to deliver comprehensive system drawings and specifications.
Program PLCs and control systems for seamless industrial automation.
Conduct electrical testing and diagnostics to ensure system reliability.
Support on-site engineers during the integration and commissioning of new systems, both in the UK and overseas.Essential Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 3+ years of industry experience in electrical design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD software.
Strong understanding of electrical control gear and industrial automation.
Practical knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., Profinet, Profibus, EtherNet/IP, TCP/IP, OPC, IO-Link).
