A fantastic opportunity is open with our client, who is a specialist surveying consultancy dedicated to delivering accurate, reliable, and innovative surveying solutions across a wide range of sectors, including construction, infrastructure, and property development. With expertise spanning topographical surveys, measured building surveys, engineering setting-out, and monitoring, my client provides clients with the precise data they need to plan, design, and build with confidence.

With a reputation for professionalism, technical excellence, and client-focused service, my client works with developers, contractors, architects, and consultants across the UK. Due to continued growth, my client is now seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join the team, based out of Manchester / Stockport. You will be traveling around the north-west region, delivering a wide variety of surveys. This is a great opportunity to join a small, growing team and work on some exciting projects.

Responsibility & Duties

  • Conduct topographical surveys to a high standard using modern Trimble survey equipment, including robotic total stations and GNSS systems as the land surveyor

  • Create detailed AutoCAD drawings and process 3D models from survey data.

  • Perform measured building surveys, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.

  • Work effectively in a variety of environments, including rural and urban sites.

    Experience & Qualification

  • Proven experience working as a Land Surveyor or Site Engineer

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or SCC Software as a land surveyor

  • Strong knowledge of topographical survey, setting out methods

  • Fully DBS Checked as the land surveyor

  • Experience using modern survey equipment, such as GNSS systems, total stations, and laser scanners, including Trimble survey equipment as a land surveyor

  • A Full UK driving licence
