A pioneering Robotics & Technology company based in Cambridge are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team. Working closely with the wider engineering teams to support with on-going product development and growth. This is a full-time permanent position with hybrid working. International travel may be required.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Work across full product lifecycle.

  • Work closely with wider engineering teams to support with system integrations.

  • Communicate with internal and external parties to deliver projects against deadlines.

  • Assist with product design reviews.

  • Manage the companies CAD and PDM infrastructure.

  • Create cost effective design solutions.

  • Present technical reports to the senior management team.

    The Successful candidate will have:

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree BSc / BEng / HND qualification or relevant experience.

  • Experience with 3D CAD, Solidworks, FEA, injection moulding, CNC.

  • 4+ years experience with full product development lifecycle.

  • Exceptional communicational skills and stakeholder management experience.

  • Experienced with cost analysis.

  • Experience working within robotic manufacturing.
