Role: .NET Software Developer

Location: Nottingham

Working Arrangement: Office-based 5 days/week

Salary: Up to £55k Plus £5k–£10k in shift allowances/bonuses

Are you a .NET developer who’s curious about more than just code? This is a chance to step out of routine SaaS or FinTech work and into the world of automation and robotics, where software meets hardware.

You’ll still be a hands-on .NET developer, but with opportunities to:

  • Work alongside industrial automation engineers, hardware specialists and software experts

  • Tinker with C and even pick up industrial control skills

  • See your work in action with real-world clients and game-changing solutions

    What you’ll be doing

  • Building C# (MVC) / SQL Server web applications, plus front-end work with JavaScript and HTML

  • Adding your expertise as the .NET specialist during client implementations

  • Collaborating across teams to deliver innovative automation solutions

  • Occasionally contributing to projects outside .NET (C or C++ exposure helpful but not essential)

  • Joining a rota for paid out-of-hours support (occasional evenings/weekends)

  • Travelling to client sites when needed (not often, but you need to be flexible!)

    What we’re looking for

  • Strong .NET development experience (C#, MVC, SQL Server)

  • Curiosity about how software and hardware interact

  • A team-first mindset and willingness to step outside your comfort zone

  • UK driving licence and ability to work on-site in Nottingham (not far from the M1), 5 days a week
