Panel Wirer/Electrical Fitter - The Role:

Build electrical control panels
Ability to read and understand technical electrical (control and power) schematic drawings and wire the equipment to these specifications
Installations and retro fitting upgrades of control panels on customer side
Liaise with design department
Manufacturing control panels while following a set of electrical diagrams
Work to Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Order and organise panel build materials
Carry out panel testing and documentation correctly

Panel Wirer/Electrical Fitter - The Person:

HNC Qualified ideally
18th Edition Wiring Regulations desired
Experience in panel manufacturing
Good inter-personal skills, teamwork, hands-on approach with effective verbal and written communication skills
Conscientious and flexible attitude
Ability to be proactive and work with minimal supervision
Well organised and a strong work ethic

It is required that the candidate holds a UK Valid driving licence and is flexible to travel to customer sites as required. Current order book is busy, so likely to be 15-20% of time.

Any experience of control panel design is highly desirable - There is a progression route for this role to develop into an Electrical Design Engineer for the right candidate

Located in Lancashire, this role would be commutable from Skelmersdale, Wigan, Leigh, Manchester, Liverpool.
