Proactive are recruiting for Production Operatives for a manufacturing company based in Witney on a full-time basis.
The company are looking to expand their workforce and employ several Production Operatives to join their fast-paced production team.

About the Production Operative role:

Manufacturing timber components based on technical drawings with the aid of robotic machinery and digital aids
Operating production machinery
Accurately loading machinery with correct timber components and consumables
Using power tools to manually correct any defects
Manually assembling one off bespoke products using staplers, nail guns, routers, saws and other handheld power tools
Recording stock movements on company stock control systems
Involvement in assembly and production across all areas of the manufacturing process

To be considered for the Production Operative role you will:

Have proven experience in a machine operative position within previous employment
Be physically fit due to the manual nature of this role
Be capable of being on your feet for the duration of each shift
Be able to communicate effectively, with a good written and verbal understanding of the English language
Be willing to learn all other aspect of production and prepared to be hands on, as the role requires you to manoeuvre large components with the help of other employees
Have previous experience with power tools & hand tools
Be computer literate as some tasks involve data entry into internal stock control systems

More about the Production Operative role:

Temporary to Permanent position
Work pattern: 06:00-15:00 Monday to Thursday / 06:00-12:00 Friday
Some weeks a 46-hour working week will be required, additional hours split across the week, with overtime being paid after 40 hours
Progression opportunities to move into higher pay band roles, including the opportunity to be trained on Combi Forklift if an in-date Counterbalance or Reach Truck Forklift certificate is held.
