We are working with a great company with an established name in their sector spread over a number of businesses and over 1500 people in various locations across the UK.

Now seeking a Production Supervisor:

Hands-on role
Delivering to targets including output levels, quality, Health & Safety, Customer satisfaction, budgets
Team supervision including managing team performance and staff training and development
Identifying and driving improvements
Ensuring employee resources and working patterns meet demands of production
Providing support and cover for Managers when requiredDo you have:

Experience as Production Supervisor working for a manufacturer (ideally manufacturing for construction)
Excellent knowledge of health, safety and environmental practices in manufacturing
Proven experience in production and resource planning.
Previous experience using an ERP system
Proficiency using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement techniques
Understanding of Quality Management Systems in a manufacturing settingAs Production Supervisor you will ultimately be working the Backshift (Apply online only)) although initially during your induction period you will be required to work the day shift (likely to be (Apply online only)). Working hours are 40 per week (Monday to Thursday) with flexibility for up to 46 hours (covering (Apply online only), coordinating with other Production Supervisors) during busy periods.
