We are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our busy, developing business playing a vital role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our vast range of plant and equipment.

    Monday–Thursday 7:30am–4:30pm, Friday 7:30am–1:30pm

    About the Senior Maintenance Engineer Role:
    As Senior Maintenance Engineer, you’ll ensure the smooth, efficient, and continuous running of mechanical, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems across our manufacturing facility whilst developing and implementing strategies that keep our production facilities operating at their best — safely, reliably, and cost-effectively.
    Key Responsibilities of the Senior Maintenance Engineer:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on a wide range of plant and machinery
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs
  • Install and test new parts and equipment
  • Support commissioning of machinery and develop maintenance strategies
  • Work with PLC systems and advanced production machinery including CNC, Amada press brakes, laser cutters, robotic welding systems and conveyor systems.
  • Be part of an on-call rota for out-of-hours maintenance support
    What We’re Looking For
  • Time-served with 10+ years of maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing.
  • C&G (or equivalent) qualification and have 18th Edition IEE Regulations qualifications.
  • Experience with PLC programming and automated systems
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work on the shop floor to tight deadlines in response to breakdown emergencies
  • Hands-on approach with good electrical and mechanical awareness
  • Strong communication and leadership qualities
  • Knowledge of powder coating processes and woodworking machinery is a plus
