Role overview:

My client is a World Leading Construction and Civil Engineering Company

They are presently delivering a prestigious, circa £200m Civils Project on the western edge of Southampton.

The successful candidate will have experience of setting out on similar projects, e.g large concrete structures, 278 works, drainage, earthworks and new roads and footpaths. In the role you will be required to use your initiative and coordinate gangs to maximise efficiency and work in-line with the programme.

Duties include:

Setting out roads, earthworks and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations)
Manage all engineering activity providing direction to the direct workforce and subcontractors
Quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement
Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
Produce as-built drawings in AutoCADBenefits:
