This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Software Controls Engineer to join a fast-growing company that prides themselves on excellence and quality.

This company are Manufacturing and Automation leaders within the UK. They have a fantastic reputation from both employees and customer perspectives and now need another Controls Engineer to join the team.

In this role, you will program control systems using PLCs, Servo Drives, and Robots, as well as troubleshoot mechanical and electrical control equipment. You will be responsible for modifying systems to enhance performance, performing tests to understand mechanism limitations, and ensure all modifications are correctly documented.

The ideal candidate will be experienced programming PLCs and HMIs, knowledge of setting up Servos, VFDs, Ethernet and Profibus networks and proven electrical, pneumatic or mechanical experience within the automation industry. Any experience with 6-Axis Robot systems is desirable.

The Role:
*Program control systems using PLCs, Servo Drives, and Robots
*Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical control equipment
*Modifying systems to enhance performance
*Based onsite in Lowestoft

The Person:
*Experienced programming PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Festo etc.)
*Knowledge of setting up Servos, VFDs, Ethernet and Profibus networks
*Any experience with 6-Axis Robot systems is desirable
*Must be commutable to Lowestoft or willing to relocate
