Role: Software Project Manager - AI Implementation

Location: Manchester (hybrid, 2-3 days onsite)

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (DoE)

Are you an experienced Software Project Manager with a passion for emerging tech? A leading multinational finance business in Manchester is hiring a PM to lead a strategic programme focused on implementing AI and machine learning capabilities across key platforms.

The Role:

In this highly visible role, you'll be responsible for managing multiple AI-related workstreams across software, data, and compliance. You'll collaborate with senior stakeholders across the UK and Europe, lead Agile teams, and ensure timely delivery of solutions that will drive operational efficiency and competitive edge.

The Client:

Our client is a global financial services organisation undergoing a major digital transformation. With a strong track record of innovation and significant investment into emerging technologies, this is an opportunity to lead flagship AI initiatives at scale.

Requirements:

5+ years of software project management experience
Proven experience delivering AI or ML projects
Strong understanding of enterprise technology environments
Excellent stakeholder and risk management skills
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

Desirable:

Financial services or regulated industry experience
Relevant certifications (Scrum Master, Prince2, AI/ML-related)
