We have an opportunity for a Supply Chain Supervisor to join us at Honeywell, in Christchurch, Bournemouth, where you will be a key member of the leadership team in supporting the site to achieve its goals and objectives. By effectively coaching and leading a team to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) whilst maintaining positive employee relations. Success must be driven and sustained through HMX tools.

This role is 100% onsite and will involve up to 15% travel within the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Materials Management performance, including planning, supplier performance, and third-party logistics provider effectiveness.

  • Integrate Materials Management activities into the Sales Inventory Operating Planning (SIOP) process to enhance efficiency.

  • Optimize inventory management to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize stockouts while reducing turnaround times by addressing bottlenecks.

  • Lead and develop the Materials Management team, managing performance through regular reviews and addressing escalations effectively.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and budgetary requirements while promoting Lean principles within the materials management environment.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field, with extensive experience in supply chain management and related roles.

  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, showcasing expertise in process improvement methodologies.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications and experienced with SAP (MM, PP modules) and tools such as Power BI, BW, and BI.

  • Strong project management skills with proficiency in English (writing, reading, and speaking).

  • A proven track record in motivating teams, managing complex change projects, enhancing internal processes, and effectively driving collaborative supply chain management across all organizational levels.
