Technical Sales Engineer required for my client, based in Runcorn, who work heavily within the advanced automation solutions industry of engineering.

The successful Technical Sales Engineer will be working both within the Runcorn office and on the field, visiting the companies clients when needing to. So you must be open to both these areas of sales.

Technical Sales Engineer Job Overview

Responsible for selling a variety of products, such as; PAC Controllers, Industrial Robots, Flexible Part Feeders and IIOT4 type devices.
Discuss and advise on the range of products and services available from the company and offer written proposals which highlight the benefits that are specific to the customer.
Involves technical and commercial review of enquiries, quotations and managing the process through to the placement of an order.
Raising purchase orders with suppliers to support sales order requirements and supporting the customer up to and beyond delivery of their order
Office bases with customer visits when required.

Technical Sales Engineer Job Requirements

Experience of Industrial sales and/or technical support within the process / automation industry.
Experience using a CRM database.
Have the ability to develop networking skills and contacts and identify key new sales opportunities and devise a strategy to efficiently exploit them.
Be efficient in communicating via both the telephone and email, within a sales environment.
Provide customer quotations and proposals with an organised approach to follow up on quotations and generate new business.
Based within a commutable distance of Runcorn.

Technical Sales Engineer Salary & Benefits

Salary - £35,000 to £40,000. Dependent upon experience, skill and qualifications.
Performance related bonuses.
Full time position, Monday to Friday. 40 hours a week
Holiday package.
Company pension scheme
Other benefits include; Employee stock ownership plan and free parking.
