The Role:

This role sits within our Sensor Systems Business Unit in Fareham.

You will work as a Warehouse Operative in close cooperation with the Storage, Production, and Planning department in order to keep a good quality and flow of material in and out of our production.

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Your responsibilities include storing materials, picking and packing orders.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform picking and packing of shop orders and customer orders
Support the production line with material deliveries upon non-conformities
Perform inventory controls/checks and keeping record of stock
Keep quality standards high for picking and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
Operate and maintain tools and equipment within stores
Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)

Requirements and skills:

Proven working experience as a Warehouse Operative, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel, -Word and -Outlook
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and its documentation
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to lift heavy objects and handle warehouse tools and equipment's
Current forklift licence (optional)
