Position: Warehouse Operative

Salary: £13 - £14.57 per hour

Location: Northampton

Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Northampton.

Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Warehouse Operative to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the Site's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.

You will be responsible for:

Receiving materials into the spare parts warehouse and inventory management system
Checking for damaged or missing materials versus delivery paperwork
Sorting and placing materials onto racks or shelves.
Picking and packing orders for delivery or pickup
Loading and sometimes delivering orders
Performing warehouse inventory control via a warehouse scanner or computer
Prepares and maintains paperwork records of orders shipped.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience in a warehouse / store's environment, covering picking, packing, and shipping including
Experience of working with a computerized stock management system and computers and software.
Forklift license advantageous but not essential
Methodical and organised
Able to integrate well into an established team supporting and assisting colleagues.
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook an advantage

Additional Info:

7.30am-5.00pm Monday to Thursday
Rate: £12.64 - £14.17 per hour
Start Date: ASAP following interview process
