Meridian Business Support are recruiting for a Weld Cell Operativesto work for one of our prestigious clients based in Cheltenham. The company manufacture and supply a vast range of specialist products to various industries across the globe. The role is on a permanent basis and will be working in a modern, well equipped, safe and tidy factory environment 

Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 2pm - 11.30pm

Main duties & responsibilities:

Operate machines and process work as instructed by the Area supervisor.
Ensuring parts are made or processed in a prompt manner and production output figures are met.
Carrying out quality checks
Identify and segregate non-conforming stock
Adjusting and setting automated Weld machines to specification
Troubleshooting as required
Running batches of material
Adherence to all H & S rules in relation to the workshop environmentEssential Criteria:

Ability to read & accurately interpret engineering drawings
Mechanical aptitude & problem solving nature
Operation of welding robots / machines would be advantageous
Welding experience is advantageous
Awareness of H & S requirements relative to the engineering environment
Meticulous eye for detail & ability to work in line with quality standardsEasily commutable from Gloucester, Tewkesbury and surrounding areas
