We’re representing a fast-growing, independently owned automation and control systems integrator delivering cutting-edge solutions across sectors including manufacturing, energy, and utilities. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join their engineering team and play a key role in delivering high-quality PLC/SCADA projects from design to commissioning.

£40K – £50K DOE + Pension + Healthcare Scheme

Controls Engineer - The Role:

Design and configure PLC and HMI/SCADA software for industrial automation systems
Produce supporting documentation (FDS, FAT/SAT) for control systems
Assist with full life cycle project delivery including on-site testing and commissioning
Work collaboratively with senior engineers, subcontractors, and clients
Travel to customer sites across the UK (~20%) 

Controls Engineer - The Person:

Hands-on experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, or Schneider) 
Familiarity with HMI or SCADA platforms (e.g. WinCC, FactoryTalk, AVEVAInTouch) 
Understanding of project documentation and structured design
Full UK driving licence
 Engineering qualifications (HNC/HND or above)
