Controls Engineer

  • Hartlepool

  • Salary: £45,000 per annum

  • Permanent staff position

  • 35 days holiday

    A Controls Engineer with knowledge of industrial automation & control systems is wanted to join a leading manufacturing company in Hartlepool.

    Your primary duties will be to optimise the reliability of the control & automation systems across an industrial manufacturing operation.

    What You’ll Be Doing

  • Troubleshooting & improving process control systems

  • Working on HMI, SCADA and PLC systems

  • Process improvement implementation

  • Working with engineers and operators to improve performance and reliability.

    What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Degree or HND in Electrical, Automation or Control Systems Engineering

  • Hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens S7 / Allen Bradley).

  • Knowledge of SCADA, HMI, Profibus, and Profinet networks.

  • A background in an industrial manufacturing/engineering environment
