3 Shifts Monday to Friday 55-56k plus

    About the Role

    Are you ready to lead from the front in a fast-paced, high-tech paint operation environment? We're looking for a Maintenance Technician Team Leader (Electrical) to join the Paint Maintenance team in Banbury.

    This is more than just a maintenance role - you'll lead a skilled team, drive improvements, ensure equipment runs at its best, and play a vital part in hitting safety, quality, cost, and efficiency targets.

    Your Key Responsibilities

    Leadership & Supervision:

    Lead a team of Maintenance Technicians on shift.
    Ensure safety, motivation, and performance of the team.
    Deliver daily shift briefs and handovers.
    Conduct appraisals, training, and team development. Maintenance & Technical Support:

    Provide technical support to paint operations.
    Drive equipment uptime and reliability.
    Carry out fault finding and implement effective solutions.
    Use CMMS and other systems to log and improve maintenance performance. Safety & Compliance:

    Ensure all team activities comply with H&S standards.
    Drive a zero-incident culture with lockout/tagout, PPE compliance, and 5S practices.
    Lead investigations into near misses and incidents. Continuous Improvement:

    Champion CIP initiatives and lean principles.
    Lead cost-down, error-proofing, and energy-saving projects.
    Support installation of new technologies and upgrades. Performance & Reporting:

    Track and report KPIs.
    Manage shift costs, overtime, and resource planning.
    Drive actions from EOS scores, employee engagement, and suggestion schemes. What We're Looking For

    Skills & Experience

    Electrical/Mechanical Apprenticeship - time-served.
    Strong leadership and team management skills.
    PLC fault finding & programming - Siemens, Allen Bradley preferred.
    Experience with robotics, inverters, pneumatics, hydraulics, AC/DC systems, and networked control systems (Ethernet, Interbus S, Modbus, etc.)
    Knowledge of CMMS, preventative maintenance, and system controls.
    Microsoft Office & technical documentation skills.Certifications & Training

    IOSH certified.
    Leadership training (e.g. ELLT).
    Familiarity with IATF 16949, CDM, and safe systems of work.
