Fault Finding Engineer

£45,000 - £55,000 | Andover | Days | 40 hours

We're looking for a hands-on engineer who enjoysfault finding, problem solving and getting to the root cause of issues. You'll be working with machinery, identifying recurring faults, fixing them properly and finding ways to prevent them happening again.

• Diagnose and repairelectrical, mechanical and control-system faults
• Carry outroot cause analysis and investigate recurring failures
• Improve machine reliability and reduce downtime
• Recommend and implementpreventative maintenance, upgrades and modifications
• Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams
• Develop maintenance schedules and servicing procedures
• Analyse fault trends and identify opportunities for improvement
• Provide occasional support at other sites when required -very limited travel

• Strongelectrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience withmachinery, automation, control systems or industrial equipment
• A methodical approach todiagnostics and root cause analysis
• Experience withwiring, control panels and machine assembly
• Knowledge ofsensors, motors, drives, relays and machine-control components
• BasicC++ knowledge is desirable, or willingness to learn
• Preventative maintenance/improvement experience is advantageous
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• FullUK driving licence

• £45,000 - £55,000, depending on experience
• Overtime / shift allowance available
• Profit share
• 40 hours per week, days
• Based within acommutable distance of Andover
