Graduate Electrical Design Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join a fast-growing business delivering cutting-edge solutions to top-tier customers in automotive and motorsport. We’re working exclusively with an exciting high-tech scale-up.

They are an innovative engineering company specialising in the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge motion and simulation systems. Their technology helps leading automotive and motorsport clients achieve greater precision, performance, and safety.

The Role

As a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll be working alongside experienced engineers on a variety of exciting projects. You’ll play a hands-on role in the design and development of electrical systems, with opportunities to contribute across the full product lifecycle – from initial design through to system integration and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and development of advanced electrical systems for major automotive projects.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining electrical design specifications.

  • Produce and update technical documentation to support ongoing projects.

  • Contribute to the design of electrical control panels and related systems.

  • Develop and review wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.

  • Help manage Bills of Materials (BoM) for electrical components.

  • Participate in system integration, testing, and on-site commissioning.

    What We’re Looking For

  • A degree (BSc, BEng, MSc, MEng, HND, or HNC) in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related discipline.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • A proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude with a genuine interest in new technologies.
