With over 60 years of expertise, a leading UK manufacturer of high-quality drainage products and access covers are looking for a skilled and proactive Injection Moulding Machine Maintenance Engineer to help keep its high-performance manufacturing operations running smoothly to minimise downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Injection Moulding Machine Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the injection moulding machines and associated equipment are operating at peak performance. Your day-to-day will include:

Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on injection moulding machines, robotics, and ancillary systems.
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults.
Conducting scheduled servicing and calibration to meet safety and compliance standards.
Supporting equipment installation, commissioning, and decommissioning.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives, including machinery upgrades / modifications.

What You’ll Bring to This Injection Moulding Machine Maintenance Engineer Role:

We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience and a problem-solving mindset. Ideally, you’ll have:

Demonstrable experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
Proven background in injection moulding or plastics manufacturing.
Familiarity with robotics and automations systems.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.
Experience with robotics and automation systems.
Solid skills in fault finding, root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.

In return you will receive a salary of £40,000 - £53,000 pa.
