We are now looking for an Injection Moulding Technician to join our friendly team on a permanent, full-time basis, operating on a rotating shift pattern.

Shifts run from 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, and 10pm to 6am, from Monday to Friday. There is a requirement for occasional weekend and overtime work.

  The Role
  
  As an Injection Moulding Technician, you will support the injection mould manufacturing of our bespoke returnable packaging.
  
  Alongside a small, friendly team, you will undertake tool setting duties to support the injection mould manufacturing of our products. This includes stripping down tools and setting up runs after a tool change, conducting quality checks and maintaining machine parameters.
  
  Additionally, you will assist the operators with their day-to-day activities.
  
  About You
  
  To be considered as an Injection Moulding Technician, you will need:
  
  
• Strong tool setting experience on larger machines (ideally Engel and Krauss Maffei up to 2,700 tonnes)
  
• Good communication skills
  
• To be qualified to IMT Level 3 or equivalent
  
  Please note, this role will involve heavy manual work.
  
  *Pay includes basic pay for 40 hours, plus 10% extra guaranteed earnings for mandatory extra hours (average of two per week).
  
  Other organisations may call this role IM Setter, Process Technician, Moulding Technician, Injection Mould Operator, Workshop Technician, Injection Moulding Setter, Assembly Technician, Plastic Injection Moulding Tool Setter Operator, or Injection Moulding Maintenance Technician.
