An exciting opportunity for a Junior Project Engineer to join a team delivering automated manufacturing systems used across automotive and advanced engineering environments.

This role is ideal for a mechanically minded Junior Project Engineer early in their career who wants hands-on experience with automation systems, robotics and project delivery.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers while developing toward Project Engineer and Project Manager roles.

The Role

Support engineers across the full automation project lifecycle

Work with mechanical drawings, layouts and 3D CAD models

Assist with automation system build, testing and commissioning

Coordinate with design, controls, robotics and installation teams

Support site visits, installs and technical queriesWhat We’re Looking For

Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in automation

Ability to read mechanical drawings

Hands-on mindset with good problem-solving skills

Strong teamwork and communication

Ambition to develop into Project EngineeringDesirable:

Experience in manufacturing, automation or automotive environments

Exposure to robotics, fixtures or automated machineryQualifications

Level 4+ in Mechanical Engineering, Automation or Manufacturing

Mechanical apprenticeship also considered
