I am currently recruiting on behalf of a large, established FMCG manufacturer that operates a highly automated, high-volume production facility, for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical or mechanical bias to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment where engineering excellence directly impacts site output and performance. The company is known for its continued investment in automation, training, and long-term site development.

The successful multi skilled maintenance engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of modern production and packaging equipment during the night shift, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and providing effective reactive breakdown support in close collaboration with production and engineering teams.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

· Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.

· Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

· Hands-on mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience.

· Recognised electrical engineering qualification.

· Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

· Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
