Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician

Based in Sheffield on a rotating shift pattern, you'll play a key role in maintaining cutting-edge manufacturing systems.

We're seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician with strong fault-finding capabilities across electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems. You'll deliver reactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance that ensures production stays at peak performance.

The Role:

• Conduct planned preventative maintenance across a diverse range of machinery and equipment.
  
• Provide rapid response to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime and effective communication with team leaders.
  
• Troubleshoot and fault-find across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems using technical schematics.
  
• Manage contractors and permit-to-work processes, ensuring safety and compliance.
  
• Log and document all maintenance tasks within the site's CMMS system.
  
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and inventory management for critical spares.
  
• Collaborate with R&D and process development teams on future technologies and innovations.
  
  Experience:
  
• Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
  
• Multi-skilled across electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  
• Proven experience with hydraulic systems and interpreting schematic drawings.
  
• Comfortable working with CMMS systems in a fast-paced production environment.
  
• Experience with robotics, fault finding, recovery, and preventative maintenance.
  
• Knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal for troubleshooting with Ladder and Function Block logic.
