Location: Houghton Le Spring

Permanent staff role

Salary: £43,232 base + shift allowance (£51,700+ average)

Shift Pattern:

Day Shift: Mon–Thurs 07:00–15:10; Fri 07:00–15:05

Late Shift: Mon–Thurs 15:05–23:15; Fri 15:05–23:10

Night Shift: Sun 22:00–07:05+; Mon–Thurs 23:10–07:05+

Shift Allowances:

o Late Shift Premium: +16%

o Night Shift Premium: +39%

Overtime is available and paid additionally: 1.33x for Day Shift, 1.5x for Late/Night Shifts

We’re looking for a proactive Multiskilled Maintenance Technician to join a high-performing maintenance team within a manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

· Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across plant equipment & facilities

· Diagnose & repair mechanical and electrical faults

· Support compliance, inspections, and safety systems

· Drive reliability through preventive maintenance & continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

· Essential: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) + hands-on maintenance experience (mechanical & electrical)

· Strong problem-solving & communication skills

· Desirable: IOSH, Siemens S7 PLCs, ABB Robotics experience
