Project Engineer

A respected and established UK-based manufacturer and system integrator specialising in logistic automation solutions and bespoke robotic systems for diverse needs is seeking a Project Engineer. While they take pride in manufacturing in the UK, their global partnerships with leading companies enable them to continually push boundaries.

About The Project Engineer Role

You will be responsible for leading and coordinating automation projects for our bespoke design solutions across the business.

The Project Engineer will be responsible for:

Assist in project procurement from start to finish.
Support management of project activities.
Aid in developing and maintaining MS Project schedules.
Assist in ensuring on-site compliance with CDM and IOSH standards.
Support supervision of external project subcontractors.
Assist in client relations and contract negotiations.
Participate in organising project review meetings with stakeholders.
Assist in implementing conveyor systems and production lines.
Support planning and deployment of production activities.
Assist in FMEA and DFMEA processes. 

A successful Project Engineer will need:

3 years' experience in managing machinery or equipment projects.
Great knowledge of project engineering/management practices.
Strong understanding of logistics projects and coordination.
Clean Driving License.
