Robotics Technician- Electronics, Mechanical & Mechatronic

We’re working with a pioneering robotics company developing intelligent systems designed to operate in the real world. As part of their continued growth, they’re looking for a hands-on Robotics Technician to join the team and help turn bold ideas into real, working machines.

This role will suit someone who’s practical, curious, and happiest when surrounded by tools & prototypes. You’ll be right at the centre of the action — assembling, testing, and maintaining robotic systems while keeping the workshop running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

Assembling and integrating mechanical and electronic systems
Operating 3D printers and machining or fabricating custom parts
Designing and building test rigs for hardware and subsystems
Troubleshooting hardware issues on live builds
Maintaining workshop tools, equipment, and supplies
Managing procurement and keeping projects moving on time

Must-Have Skills

Experience with electronics and hardware assemblies
Confident using 3D printers, machining, and general workshop tools
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
Proven experience building or testing hardware prototypes
Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to managing a lab or workshop

Nice to Have

Exposure to robotics, automation, or mechatronic systems
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
Understanding of motors, sensors, or embedded systems
Awareness of workshop and lab safety procedures
