Salter Grange is partnering with a leading main contractor to hire a Senior Project Engineer for major projects in the Midlands of Ireland.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile pharma, life sciences, data centre, and industrial schemes, delivering exceptional quality and innovative solutions.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role with a main contractor, a strong technical background, and solid knowledge of fit-outs on complex builds.

The Role
As Senior Project Engineer, you will be a pivotal part of the project team, overseeing technical delivery, quality compliance, and stakeholder management.
You will work closely with design teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Senior Project Engineer Responsibilities:

Support the Project Manager and wider team by providing technical expertise.
Liaise daily with the project team, design team, and subcontractors.
Review and verify engineering designs, drawings, and models.
Implement QA procedures, including pre- and post-pour checks, RFIs, and resolution of technical queries.
Assist in maintaining and promoting safe working practices on site. -
Monitor and record site progress, materials, plant, and logistics.
Maintain accurate site records and produce regular reports.
Manage BCAR (Building Control Amendment Regulations) compliance and quality assurance processes.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact on technical matters.Senior Project Engineer Requirements:

Relevant third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, (or equivalent)
6+ years’ experience in a Senior Project Engineer role or equivalent.
Experience working with a main contractor on pharma, life sciences, industrial, or data centre projects.
Proven experience in fit-out and client-facing project roles.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with GPS, robotic total stations, and levelling equipment.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of Quality Control, BCAR, and design coordination.What’s on Offer:
