As an Site Electrician at our Edinburgh site, you'll play a key role in supporting a highly automated manufacturing environment, helping to ensure our iconic products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
You'll join an experienced and supportive engineering team where collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence are at the heart of what we do. Working with a wide range of modern manufacturing technologies, control systems, and automated equipment, you'll have the opportunity to develop your expertise while making a visible impact on the performance of the site.
Working on a rotating continental-style shift pattern, you'll alternate between 12-hour day shifts (6:00am–6:00pm) and night shifts (6:00pm–6:00am). You'll work an average of 42 hours per week while benefiting from 14 days off every 28-day cycle, providing regular extended breaks and supporting a strong work-life balance alongside a rewarding engineering career.

Responsibilities
- Be part of a skilled engineering team that supports the performance and reliability of a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing operation.
- Work with a diverse range of electrical systems, automation technologies, and production equipment in a modern food manufacturing environment.

Criteria
- A recognised Electrical Engineering qualification, ideally supported by a time-served apprenticeship.
- Experience working within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving capabilities, with a passion for technical excellence.
- Exposure to automation, control systems, or modern manufacturing technologies would be advantageous.
- A proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
