Site Engineer

Site Engineer required for a 6 month contract in Bristol.

I am recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer for a 6 month contract to work on a highway construction project on the outskirts of Bristol.

The Site Engineer will be responsible for:
Surveys
Setting out of piling, drainage, earthworks and roadworks
Ensure works are undertaken to contract specification
Liaise with site team to record any variations and change
Maintain accurate site records
Prepare as-built info for health and safety files.

To be considered for this contract, the successful Site Engineer must:
Be fully conversant with using robotic totalstations and GPS instruments
Have sound knowledge of construction methods in highway works
Have excellent communication skills
Be experienced in using AutoCAD
Be familiar with piling
Be trained in the use of Cat & Genny
