Site Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer for short-term cover on a civils project in Cambridge, focusing on Section 278 works. This role is ideal for a competent engineer looking to take on a 2-week contract covering holiday leave, with a strong day rate available.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out for 278 works including kerbs, footpaths, road construction, and drainage

Working with robotic total stations and GPS equipment

*

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and site plans

*

Ensuring quality control and compliance with design specifications

*

Liaising with site management and subcontractors

Requirements:

Proven experience in Section 278 works

*

Competent with setting out using Leica/Trimble

*

CSCS card (essential)

*

SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred but not essential)
