Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience in AutoCAD, machinery, or industrial automation, looking to join a highly respected engineering company known for its technical excellence and commitment to developing its people?

You'll be part of a small but highly skilled design team, where your ideas and attention to detail will directly shape bespoke and standard control panel systems used across a variety of projects.

In this role, you will design and develop detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN. You'll collaborate with engineers across departments to integrate systems, support testing and commissioning phases, and ensure all designs meet performance, safety, and compliance standards.

The ideal candidate will hold an engineering qualification and have at least two years' experience using electrical design software within a manufacturing or automation setting. You'll be detail-oriented, methodical, and enjoy applying a practical engineering approach to create efficient, cost-effective solutions.

The Role:

Design detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams for control panels using CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar).
Collaborate with teams to integrate electrical systems into machinery and support assembly and testing.
Maintain accurate documentation, support design reviews, and assist commissioning teams during FAT and SAT.

The Person:

Qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or General Engineering.
Minimum 2 years' experience in electrical design, ideally within machinery or industrial automation.
Proficient with CAD software for electrical design (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar).
Strong communication skills and a keen eye for precision and detail.
Enjoys technical problem-solving, teamwork, and continuous learning.
