Position: Electrical Fitter / Wireman
Salary: £21.00ph - £23.00ph
Location: Birmingham
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm - 40+ hours per week

Proactive are currently recruiting for multiple experienced Electrical Fitters/Panel/Machine Wirers to begin work for a leading engineering company based in Birmingham.

A Controls Electrician / Fitter will be required to work within a small design and manufacturing team, with relevant qualifications and experience.

The correct candidate ideally should be multi skilled capable and adaptable, be self-organised and personable, with an eye for detail and good initiative.

Principle Duties include:

Control Panel Build and Machine Wiring - For bespoke niche special purpose machines. Inc. control panel & equipment build, cable installation & containment, wiring of motors, encoders, sensors etc, incorporating AC servo drives and inverter motor controllers.
Fitting / Assembly - Bench top quality control / laboratory equipment for the leather processing industry. Including completion of build records.
Calibration and Recalibration of OEM Products -
Assistance to Fitters - with mechanical machine builds as necessary.Experience and qualifications required:

Good standard of education
Apprentice trained (relevant subject) - such as NVQ Level 3 Electrical Craft Certificate / Electrotechnical Craft.
City & Guilds 16th / 17th / 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Experienced with hand tools and power tools.
Working to CAD electrical drawings, following BOM's.
Adhering to strict quality standards.
IT competent (general use).
